Satoru Nii's electrifying delinquent martial arts hit Wind Breaker returns for its second television season, produced by Studio CloverWorks (Bocchi the Rock!, SPY x FAMILY, My Dress-Up Darling). Following his arrival at Furin High School—where delinquents have reinvented themselves as the town's guardian angels known as Bofurin—Haruka Sakura continues his journey from a lonely outcast to a trusted neighborhood defender.

In this authoritative production analysis, we examine CloverWorks' peerless fight sakuga, character development, voice acting, and the upcoming KEEL Arc and Roppongi District expansion.

1. Quick Take & Editorial Highlights

Key highlights for Wind Breaker Season 2:

• The Philosophy of Bofurin: Furin High rejects criminal gang culture, organizing students into territorial squads that protect elderly merchants, schoolchildren, and local citizens from outside predators.
• Haruka Sakura's Evolution: The heterochromatic brawler learns to accept kindness, praise, and genuine friendship from his classmates Akihiko Nirei, Hayato Suo, and Kyotaro Sugishita.
• The KEEL Conflict: A violent, weapon-wielding street syndicate known as KEEL infiltrates Makochi Town, forcing Bofurin's Four Heavenly Kings and Grade Captains to deploy full martial strength.
• CloverWorks Sakuga Mastery: Action director Daisuke Niinuma and episode animators deliver crisp hand-drawn parkour, dynamic judo throws, and bone-snapping punch sequences.

2. Bofurin Hierarchy & Four Heavenly Kings

Furin High is governed under the charismatic leadership of third-year student council president Hajime Umemiya:

Key Bofurin Leaders: 1. Hajime Umemiya (President / Overall Captain): An easygoing gardener who becomes an invincible physical titan during combat, embodying Bofurin's protective spirit. 2. Hayato Suo (Class 1-1 Captain): An eyepatch-wearing martial artist who neutralizes opponents using effortless Chinese Kenpo and aikido redirection. 3. Kyotaro Sugishita: Umemiya's fiercely loyal right-hand brawler whose raw, berserker slugging power dismantles heavy opposition. 4. Toma Hiragi (Four Heavenly Kings / Tamon Squad Leader): The stress-ridden captain who maintains neighborhood security despite constant stomach aches.

• Realistic Physics & Environmental Interaction: Fights utilize physical obstacles—vending machines, bicycle racks, guardrails, and stairwells—with believable momentum and weight.
