Spy x Family Code: White - Authoritative Review: The Forg...

The world's most charming fake family arrives on the big screen in Spy x Family Code: White, an all-new original theatrical film animated in partnership by WIT Studio and CloverWorks under the supervision of series creator Tatsuya Endo.

1. Overview: The Frigis Culinary Expedition

To prevent Anya from receiving a Tonitrus Bolt in her Eden Academy cooking evaluation and help Loid retain Operation Strix, the Forger family travels via steam train to the snowy region of Frigis to taste the authentic regional pastry Melemele.

Naturally, things go wildly astray when Anya accidentally ingests a chocolate containing a military microfilm sought by rogue Ostania intelligence operatives, pulling Loid (Agent Twilight) and Yor (Thorn Princess) into high-stakes espionage aboard a giant military airship.

2. The 4-Metric Rating Breakdown

🎨 Animation Quality: 9.0 / 10 WIT Studio and CloverWorks deliver crisp, vibrant animation. Yor's battle against the cyborg assassin Type F features blistering hand-to-hand martial arts choreography, while Loid's dogfight aboard the burning airship showcases thrilling aerial animation.

📖 Story & Comedy: 8.5 / 10 The script balances laugh-out-loud family comedy with genuine sweetness. Anya's hilarious psychological struggle to hold in the microfilm (visualized as an absurd "Poop God" spiritual enlightenment) is peak Spy x Family comedy.

🎵 Music & Sound Design: 8.7 / 10 Makoto Miyazaki and [K]NoW_NAME supply a retro 1960s jazz-fusion score that matches the suave, spy-thriller aesthetic of the film. Official theme songs by Official HIGE DANdism and Gen Hoshino complete the festive package.

🎭 Voice Cast Performance: 9.1 / 10 Atsumi Tanezaki (Anya), Takuya Eguchi (Loid), and Saori Hayami (Yor) display peerless comedic and emotional chemistry.

3. Final Verdict

Spy x Family Code: White is a joyful, action-packed cinematic treat that delights casual fans and devoted family enthusiasts alike.

• Final Editorial Score: 8.6 / 10 (Masterpiece)
